Tis' the season (eotd) (& concrete minerals swatches ♥)

Helllooooo!!!!! :-)

Its Christmas eve eve! And even though I am sick as hell and dealing with some not so fun womanly things I am still in the greatest mood ever. EVARRR! Its two sleeps until Christmas! Everyone always asks me why I love Christmas soo much because when you're an adult apparently Christmas has to suck. WHY DO I LOVE CHRISTMAS???? I love spending time with my family, I love baking, I love eating great food ( we are having steak & shrimp for Xmas dinner :-D), I love Christmas music, and sailor jerrys & egg nog, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing my children's faces in the morning when Santa has to come to visit - even if we are Santa, and I had  to shell out hundreds of dollars and tedious hours decorating and wrapping - its all worth those ten minutes when your children are recklessly tearing through mounds of wrapping paper, its beautiful.

Also, something great happened this morning - when I checked my mail not only did I get my concrete minerals order, and a cute picture of my cousin with Santa - we got a Christmas card on the front there was no postage of mailing address it said "The Wiebe Family" when I opened it up the card said "I hope you have a very merry Christmas, love your secret Santa with a $100 gift card inside! I don't know who sent it or why, but i feel truly blessed to be surrounded by such amazing, wonderful, supportive friends and family! :-) Even my husband who is the king of grinches and bahhhumbugs was touched! It was completely selfless.  Sooo whoever you are, once again thank you ♥

2nd Heavenly Naturals Order: Swatches ♥ (&eotd)

Hey Beauty Bloggers ♥

This post was actually meant for yesterday, but I was super sick! It was just horrible, I am feeling a bit better today though.

I got my second Heavenly Naturals package and let me tell you... AWESOME!! ♥

Here are my swatchies ♥

 My Package - I ordered 5 empty jars, Dutchess, Diva, and Siren Shadows, A glitter liner called beyond, and a lip & cheek tint (Raspberry Sorbet - it smells like an orgasm in a jar ♥)  I also got three free samples Diamond lipgloss, kiss and tell shadow, anddd paper doll shadow.

I had two minor minor issues, and when I contact Rene' she quickly replied and offered to fix it right away. One of the empty jars was chipped ( no biggie at all) and I was missing the second glitter liner for my giveaway. She said she would quickly send me new products, and I was very happy with that! Great customer service ♥

I also did a EOTD using diva on my lid, siren in my crease/outer corner) and dutchess on my lower lash line. I am also wearing Raspberry Sorbet lip and cheek tint on my cheeks - I love the natural flush and glow it gives me! and Hard Candy painted lady lipstick. 

I LOVEEE the colors  ♥

Can anyone tell me though, why it looks like I wiped my eye shadow off - what am I doing wrong - I dont over blend and I think we all know that :-P Does anyone use a mixing medium? would that help?

 about 3-4 weeks ago I placed a small order at Morgana Cryptoria - I got 6 different shadows :-) They are so pretty ♥

Pros:
- Everything was simple, I like simple ♥
- The colors are awesome, and highly pigmented!
- The jars had no sifters
- Good prices
- Lots of selection on the site, and it is easy to navigate

Cons:
- There was no invoice
- Shipping took a while

Review & Swatches - Bad Bitch Cosmetics ♥

Hey Ladies,

Recently I made an awesome purchase from an etsy site: Bad Bitch Cosmetics, the only reason why I originally purchased was just for the sheer fact that the colors had ridiculously cool names! I thought it was kind of unique! :-) Plus, the colors looked awesome on the site! I was so excited! Anyways, onto the review! :-)

Pros:

- The colors are awesome, when applied wet
- They have unique colors - at least I think they are unique! :-)
- They all have cool names!
- They are a Mineral makeup company
- The sample packaging is cute!
- The prices are good! :-)

Cons:

-  the colors look a bit dull when applied dry, at first  i was disappointed, but applied wet they are amazing!! 

- Lil Kim has too much fallout even when used wet its kind of clumpy which sucks because its such a pretty color! :-)

Website color Description:  

Missy - a beautiful shade of blue that looks GREAT when applied wet with a foiling medium (such as BBC's amazing eyeshadow primer!) and gives you a striking metallic lid that is sure to turn heads. Go'n, girl!
Ms. Steal Your Man - you know who you are, Ms. Steal Your Man! We're bad, but we can't help it, right? This is an high luster, blue-base, dark pink pigment. Foiled it has an amazing shine and used loose it's full of cute shimmer.
B Kiddo - this shadow is just GORGEOUS. A brilliant olive green with a beautifully subtle gold undertone, B Kiddo will look great in the evening in lower lighting because of its dramatic flare. It’s also amazing as an eyeliner!
Nana - Every girl needs Nana. This is a gorgeous shade, black with a hint of iridescence and blended with red micro-glitter. It's dramatic, like you!
Trina -  We couldn't think of a more perfect fit than Trina and this INCREDIBLE metallic gold. It's KILLER. Foiled it looks like liquid metal.
Barracuda - This shade named for them is a deep, romantic, interesting black violet. It's sort of macabre, sort of gothie. It seems well suited for a burlesque look as well.
Hotaru - This shade is so hard to photograph and so hard to describe! It's purple, but the most rich, complex purple. It's full of iridescent natural shimmer - so special!
Toya - This is an adorable pastel purple with some pink shimmer added. It's a perfect my little pony looking pair with "Tiny"
Miwako - We get all weak kneed just looking at it. Super high shimmer bright pink with more reflects than you can shake a stick at. Do it, it's so worth it!
Lil Kim - Named for one of *the* baddest bitches - the Notorious K.I.M. - this is some very serious pigment. It's a matte finish violet that verges on neon. It can hardly be done justice in photos.

 The Cute, little, package it came in all tied up neatly.

Swatch Overload - Moi Minerals, Heavenly Naturals, GDE ♥

 Afternoon Ladies!! 

I have lots of swatches to share with you and a "little" rant! 

 First up my Moi Minerals Swatches/Rant

Story/Rant: I ordered the sample size haunted house collection - since I wanted to try something from Moi Minerals and the black and green looked awesome!! :-D I recently got my order on friday and i ripped open the envelope to find that I had doubles of the orange color - this upset me a bit, as I don't think its too hard to put all of the right colors in! Its only a four pack, after all. Whatever, no biggie - I messaged her on Etsy and let her know and this was her e-mail: 

Oh No, I'm so sorry.
How about I give you a discount off your next order, or a full size jar with your next order?
I am so sorry this happened.

I'm not sure if i am going to make another order the only thing I really wanted was her to send me the other color! :-P Anyways, if anyone has anything good to say about Moi Minerals or something they really encourage me to try and give them another chance, I guess I will, but if you don't then I won't.

Here is my little package! With a thank you note and the colors including the two orange - they look pretty lame in the baggies but i LOVE The colors

I love the gold shimmer in black cat its so pretty!! :-)

Would I repurchase again? No probably not, unless you guys encourage me too :-P

Second - My Heavenly Naturals Swatches:

Ill just jump right into this one! I love the colors and everything!! :-) 

Pros:

- Gorgeous, Stunning, Colors
- Good Price @ 4.99 for a full size jar
- Sent three extra sample baggies (I felt like she read my mind in which colors I LOVE)
- They are super pigmented! :-D
- Invoice in the mailer envelope, with a cute handwritten thank you and a how-to use page
- Also, came in an adorable little baggie! :-)

Cons:

- The Jars had sifters in them, that had an sticker to cover the sifter holes yet, when I opened up daddy's girl a big purple mess spilt everywhere - not too big of a deal, maybe they should just give a rim wipe after packaging
- I had to wait a while for shipping on this!

fotd - all that shimmers

I just wanted to post my fotd quick so here it is ♥

Now - you have to remember, I only started getting into makeup like 3 months ago and Im really having trouble getting my outer V so gorgeous like all of you ladies! so any tips - pointers - or tools that you think would be helpful just let me know!! :-)

Mini Mail Haul ♥ (swatches + Christmas Party Dress and New Sweater ♥

Hey ladies just wanted to make a mini mail haul post since I was really excited about it!! :-D

I recently purchased the Benefit All that Shimmers set on a blog sale, and the shipping was rather fast from the UK i didn't expect to be here this quick! I swatched it right away and the colors are spectacular!! I am in love!! IN LOVEEE I Tell you!! ♥ ♥ She also wrapped it up so nicely my kids had fun tearing into the paper!! it was awesome! :-) My daughter will be three in March but she already LOVES makeup so she was pretty excited! :-)

The colors it came with are:

- Snow Bunny - Snow Shimmer
- Punk Royalty  - Sparkling Grape
- Moon Doggie - Soft Mint

I bought this set because I have a severe addiction to greens and purples and I just couldn't help myself, and they swatch beautifully! :-) Did I mention that I'm in love? :-) I love shimmer and sparkles and green and purple! :-) I don't think the moon doggie will work out too well for me because it is so light but its worth a try.

 So here is the dress! Its not actually this short I just slapped it on and didn't pull it down - What do you think? is it good for a Christmas Party??

Face Candy Couture Package (swatches & Review)

I got my first face candy couture package today!! :-) I was so excited!! 

 This isn't the giveaway package that I had won - I ordered this package before I won the giveaway. The colors I received were:

1. Isis - an amazing gold yellow with gold sparkles and a deep orange undertone
2.  Caribbean Dream - a bright aqua color with yummy shimmer and a tropical look

1. *Celebrate - a yummy, pinkish, purple shadow with silver shimmer (sample)

x. It had an invoice in the envelope with a hand written thank you, which i thought was nice
x. The colors are highly pigmented
x. The colors are super gorgeous!!
x. They are smooth and easy to apply ♥

The only con I found was that it was a sifter jar :-P Its not even a big deal every company does it I just don't personally like it. Yeah i know...wahhhhhh  ♥
